The television presenter, model and actor Fernando del Solar died this Thursday at the age of 49, as announced by the program Venga la Alegría, of which he was a part and which is broadcast through the Mexican television station TV Azteca.
The death of the presenter was also confirmed by the National Association of Interpreters of Mexico and Azteca Noticias.

Although the official causes of his death are still unknown, Del Solar had been fighting Hodgkin's lymphoma for years, a cancer in the nodes that affects the lymphatic system, which was diagnosed in 2012, according to what he himself said in an interview with TVAzteca in 2020.
Without giving more details, Sergio Sepúlveda, the driver's partner, announced the news during the broadcast of the program this Thursday morning.
"A close, very close source has told us that unfortunately Fernando del Solar has passed away. There are plenty of affectionate adjectives to talk about Fernando, but you who are his family and who built Venga la Alegría have to know," Sepúlveda said and sent condolences to their relatives.
On its Twitter account, Azteca Noticias, the TVAzteca newscast, lamented the death of Del Solar, saying that “he will always be remembered as a happy person.

For its part, the Board of Directors and the Surveillance Committee of the National Association of Interpreters communicated "the sensitive death" of Del Solar on his Instagram account.
Fernando del Solar was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, but he spent much of his career as a presenter, model and actor in Mexico.
On television, he participated in programs such as Venga la Alegría, Hoy and La Academia.
