an urban renewal project in the D neighborhood of Be'er Sheva, which is being established by Africa Israel Residential, BSR and Electra Construction, has been selected to appear in the prestigious exhibition of the World Urban Forum (WUF) on urbanism.

This is a record event in the construction industry, organized by the UN Human Settlement Program and currently taking place in the city of Katowice in Poland, and aims to promote innovation and sustainable construction in urban projects.

According to the forum's selection committee on the decision to present the project located on Yaakov Avinu Street in the D neighborhood in Be'er Sheva, it was written: "The project is located in one of the most important urban centers in Be'er Sheva, bordering the city's main public transportation area "The future is high-tech, and a train station. The plan is intended to replace a cluster of old residential buildings with mixed types of buildings - useful and diverse at high intensity, combining additional schools, extensive public areas, trees and commercial facades to create a new and vibrant urban fabric."

Assaf Simon, CEO of Africa Urban Renewal: “I am proud to have chosen the project to be an inspirational model among senior figures in the global urban construction and innovation industry.

The project we are leading together with BSR and Electra Construction corresponds directly with the essence of the forum for which it was founded in the first place - to find a solution in the coming years to the growing issue of urbanization.

In this project, instead of about 130 old housing units that exist today, about 850 new housing units will be built, to the high standards used in the center of the country and alongside 20,000 square meters of offices, about 5,000 square meters for commerce and a 12-class school that will serve the area.

The choice of the project, from among thousands of different projects around the world, testifies to the innovative and planning power that exists in it. "
