Germs were found in the Hausham drinking water network.

Hausham
– Pseudomonas and coliform germs have been identified during routine testing of the water in the drinking water network in the community of Hausham and in Agatharied Hospital.
The community announced on Thursday afternoon.
How the germs got into the drinking water is still unclear and will be investigated as soon as possible.
Water is chlorinated - but that takes time
Measures were taken immediately to protect the residents of Hausham and the patients in the hospital.
The chlorination of the drinking water was initiated in the afternoon.
Until a sufficient concentration in the drinking water is reached, an additional boiling order comes into force as a precautionary measure: All households in the municipality of Hausham, including the hospital, are asked to boil tap water as a precaution.
Endangerment of patients and citizens excluded
The chlorination must be carried out until the cause of the contamination can be clarified and eliminated.
Additional precautionary measures were also taken at Agatharied Hospital.
A risk to patients or employees in the hospital and the residents of Hausham can thus be ruled out.
Citizens are asked to inform neighbors about the cooking order.
