Habach: Driver touches truck - B472 blocked for hours

Habach - A high level of damage and a federal road closed for hours: That is the result of an accident on Wednesday (June 29) on the B472 near Habach.
According to the police, an Oberhauser (52) drove her car on the B472 from Peißenberg towards Sindelsdorf at around 9.20 a.m.
"Probably because of a microsleep" she came into the oncoming lane and touched the oncoming truck of an Oberammergauer (39), according to the Penzberg inspection manager Matthias Krümpel.
The truck's diesel tank was torn open and fuel ran out.
The Oberhauser's car was a total loss of around 3000 euros.
The truck had to be recovered with heavy equipment by a towing service.
The damage to the truck is estimated at around 25,000 euros.
The Habach and Dürnhausen fire brigades were on site with ten forces.
A water barrier was set up by the Sindelsdorf fire brigade because diesel flowed into the stream below the accident site.
