The investigations by the Stuttgart public prosecutor's office into fraud and money laundering are directed against the founder of the "lateral thinking" movement, Michael Ballweg.
His lawyer Ralf Dalla Fini told the German Press Agency on Thursday that he had advised his client not to comment on the allegations.
He wanted to request access to the files first.
Stuttgart - That could take a week or ten days.
Only then can he decide how to proceed.
The police searched two apartments and business premises in Stuttgart on Wednesday and arrested the 47-year-old founder of "lateral thinking".
Ballweg has been in custody since Wednesday evening because of the risk of absconding.
The 47-year-old is said to have raised money through public appeals since May 2020 and deceived about the intended use, as the police and public prosecutor in Stuttgart had previously announced.
