In the early Thursday afternoon, the popular Munich natural outdoor pool Maria Einsiedel was evacuated in a hurry.
The reason is apparently a flood on the site.
Thalkirchen - Moment of shock in Thalkirchen: In the early Thursday afternoon (June 30) at around 1 p.m., the popular natural outdoor pool "Maria Einsiedel" near the Hellabrunn Bridge in Thalkirchen was quickly cleared.
"We have to evacuate," explained one employee hectically: "At the back of the sunbathing lawn, the water is already halfway up the sunbathing lawn."

There had already been warnings that swimming in the small side canal of the Isar, which flows directly through the outdoor pool, was no longer allowed.
Within minutes, the water burst its banks here and flooded the sunny meadow in the area of the beer garden and the gastronomy for a few meters.
Finally, the announcement came that the "Maria Einsiedel" had to be cleared immediately and all bathers were asked to "please leave the outdoor pool immediately".
