The local COVID-19 Response and Coordination Center stated that there were 88 new nucleic acid positive cases yesterday (29th), with a total of 572 nucleic acid positive cases and 48 new cases yesterday. Found in the community, another 40 cases were found in the control.

The Infection Response Coordination Center also announced the launch of a new round of rapid nationwide testing. Starting from July 1 to 2, residents across the country will be required to take the rapid testing once a day and report the results online.

The Response Coordination Center stated that yesterday (29th), 88 new nucleic acid positive cases were added throughout the day, 48 cases were found in the community, and 40 cases were found during management and control.

From the current wave of the epidemic in Macau to yesterday, a total of 572 nucleic acid-positive cases have been reported, involving 328 women and 244 men, ranging in age from 8 months to 100 years old. Among them, 180 were symptomatic and 392 were asymptomatic infections.

According to the epidemiological investigation, the cases are tentatively divided into 12 groups. The 12th group, Fortuna Hotel - Splendid Garden, which was newly added yesterday, was initially found to be related to the first group of external employees of Yanli Building.

Push a new round of national quick test

The Response and Coordination Center also announced the launch of a new round of rapid testing for all citizens. From July 1 to 2, citizens across the country must take a rapid test and upload and report their test results every day for two consecutive days from July 1 to 2.

As of 3:00 pm, 429,621 people have uploaded their antigen test results, of which 26 people reported positive results, 19 of them belonged to community infection, and the other 7 people are under medical observation found in the hotel.

The Response Coordination Center pointed out that it will arrange relevant positive cases to go to Macao Egg Hall A in accordance with the procedures, and conduct another rapid antigen test and nucleic acid test.

The Response and Coordination Center also responded to public inquiries, stating that during the epidemic period, people were required to stay at the Medical View Hotel. According to the practice of last year, whether local residents, foreign employees or tourists, the fees are exempted, except for additional service fees.

In addition, the Response Coordination Center mentioned that employees in the construction industry and casinos were originally required to undergo nucleic acid testing every two days. However, considering the gathering of personnel at the nucleic acid testing stations, which is not conducive to the fight against the epidemic, it was decided to cancel the need for people in the two industries to hold their own before going to work. 48-hour nucleic acid test negative certificate requirements, but they still have to take a quick test before going to work.

People with suspected symptoms and health code red and yellow are not allowed to go to work

The local health bureau issued measures guidelines, stating that people with suspected symptoms of the new crown, red or yellow health codes are not allowed to go to work and enter the premises.

All personnel entering the casino area, including customers, staff and public sector personnel, must hold the negative test certificate of the day displayed on the Macau Health Code.

The guidelines also mention that if someone in the workplace is positive, they should immediately ask those who are not at work to suspend work, those who have already worked should suspend activities and get along with others, wear masks, and wait for instructions from the authorities outside.
