An earthquake measuring 6 on the Richter scale hit the island of Luzon in the Philippines today.
Reuters quoted the German GFZ Research Center for Geosciences as saying in a statement that the epicenter of the earthquake was located at a depth of 10 km.
There were no reports of material damage, casualties, or warnings of tsunami waves following the earthquake.
