Philippine President-elect Ferdinand Marcos Jr. was sworn in today as the country's new president.
According to AFP, the 64-year-old junior, who won a landslide victory in last month's presidential election, swore in a public ceremony at the National Museum of Manila in front of hundreds of local and foreign dignitaries, including Chinese Vice President Wang Qishan.
Junior takes over the presidency, replacing Rodrigo Duterte.
A few days ago, the Supreme Court rejected recent attempts to invalidate Marcos' victory to prevent him from taking over the presidency.
