Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev announced that the world is witnessing the emergence of a new composition of international security on the ruins of the old model, stressing that there will be no return to the past.
Russia Today website quoted Medvedev as saying today at the plenary session of the 10th Petersburg International Legal Forum: "The world has changed radically, and we all understand this very well, and whether some accept it or not, there will be no return to the past."
Medvedev indicated that the new system will have a reflection in the law at the international and national levels, pointing out that not all the changes taking place are rational and necessary, and some of them are simply harmful, but we as specialists in law and rights cannot and should not ignore them.
