Undersecretary for Education Barbara Floridia, 45, a teacher from Messina, is the candidate of the M5s in the primaries of the progressive area in Sicily for the position of President of the Region.
The choice was delegated to the leader of the Movement Giuseppe Conte by the Sicilian parliamentarians.
The former premier, after a series of consultations that took place between yesterday and today, chose from a list of names also composed by the group leader at the Ars Nuccio Di Paola and by the regional deputy Luigi Sunseri.
The name of Barbara Floridia is added to those of Caterina Chinnici, competing for the Democratic Party, and of Claudio Fava of the Centopassi movement.
