"In 2022, everything is being talked about, so I found it appropriate to also open a discourse, however complex, about the purity of the family. Women light Shabbat candles, secrete challah, but they did not talk about it. Out of embarrassment."

About two years ago, Bracha Shilat and I volunteered to start the "I smoke a woman" project.

Non-profit organization.

We wanted to give every woman knowledge and tools, on the subject of relationships, femininity, sexuality, in the spirit of tradition, with the goal that each one will hear - and choose what is most right and appropriate for her.

In my role as a couple and sexual counselor, I see in my clinic the desire for diversity and the revival of passion in a relationship.

In fact, the tools offered to us by clinical couple therapy are tools given to us by the Jewish tradition thousands of years ago: to move away in order to get closer, to maintain the couple flame.

I wanted to 'reveal to the world the secret' - the secret of the Jewish home and emphasize that the status of women in Judaism is far from what it sometimes seems.

It was important for me to talk about it, to shatter stigmas, myths, to give a woman power and especially to strive to be a mission to do good to the people of Israel.

In those two years, the venture has become the center of our personal and professional lives.

After two years of meticulous work, we set off.

Among other things, we did a launch event at my home.

Dozens of women arrived, including 'Slavs', free of charge, who came from a real connection to us and the venture.

There were also four influencers with whom we worked for a fee, and I am very proud of the connection to them.

We thought a lot about this connection, which would be from the heart, from the stomach, from the soul - and we found it.

We are not a consumer product, this is exactly why we went out with them for a personal process, for a conversation, for an in-depth interview, we saw their natural connection to the values and messages of the venture, gave them the stage to share their real, personal and marital experience.

Not everyone is immersed and it's cool!

Map - that each one will choose.

In 2022 we are talking about everything, so I found it appropriate to open a discourse, however complex, about the purity of the family.

Women light Shabbat candles, secrete challah, but about it - did not talk.

From embarrassment.

Perhaps from a less successful immersion experience they experienced.

There is also sometimes an incorrect and inaccurate discourse on the subject.

Words like "impurity" and "outcast" are inserted, without understanding, for example, that a woman in wandering is actually a couple in "wandering."

That's exactly why we set out - 'put it on the table', talk openly, allow every woman who wants to take a dip - the best experience possible, we mapped out the best mikvahs for her, gave them a quality mark, that she would have the best, most pampering.

That you know the limits.

That you know what the role of the balanit really is.

Personally I can testify that when I immerse myself in the mikveh, I feel very empowered and feminist, no one can convince me otherwise.

In the same breath, I do not tell anyone that if she goes to the mikveh, only good things will happen to her, because it is her to choose and decide, it is her moment.

It is also important for us that the public understand that the purity of the family is not just for religiosity.

It's ours.

I knew the subject would provoke a conversation, but it hurt me to see the supremacy over the ‘secularism’ they allegedly received ‘paid for values’.

These women were rewarded for their hard work.

And most importantly - they are part of a journey.

Real, transparent, authentic and if you go into technical details - they also reflected proper disclosure on their Instagram, as requested.

Everything is done openly, in full transparency, at the launch event, after it and all the way.

I also resent the hypocrisy.

Why promote products through influencers is fine, but when we go through a real process with them, related to the Jewish tradition, suddenly everyone is shocked?

Doubtful?

Toxic?

To my delight, the people are voting for us, truth in the end - there is only one.

I wanted to go home at the end of the day and lay my head on the pillow knowing I might have done something good.

Since the launch, countless women have turned to me, sharing the immersion experience, telling that they stopped immersing, or came back, or always went, I enjoy hearing everything from everything, even if I know I have the knowledge, the power to decide, because they are my power to continue.

I am strong and determined that I made the right choice and continue on my path with my dear partner.

I stand by the women of Israel, for their benefit and service.

This is your day, and only you will choose what is good for you.
