At least seven people were killed in a landslide in the northeastern Indian state of Manipur.
And Reuters news agency quoted state officials as saying today that "the relief teams are still working under difficult weather conditions in an attempt to rescue 19 people trapped under the rubble."
Heavy rains in the northern Indian states this month have killed more than 150 people and displaced hundreds of thousands as a result of the resulting floods.
