The municipality of Ingenried can also show a solid budget for 2022 - despite additional investments of almost 1.5 million euros compared to last year.
How can that be?
Ingenried – The budget of the municipality of Ingenried for the current year shows an impressive sum of 5.2 million euros.
That is around 300,000 euros in the administrative budget and 1.4 million euros more in the asset budget than in the previous year.
"I've said several times that 2021 was the year of preparation, now we're going to implement it," said Mayor Georg Saur at the most recent municipal council meeting.
Of particular importance in the planned investments is the procurement of the new fire engine for the volunteer fire brigade at around 440,000 euros.
"Although we expect a subsidy of 110,000 euros," added Andrea Sepp, treasurer of the administrative community (VG) Altenstadt, who is responsible for the budget.
A large sum of around 700,000 euros will be invested in water and waste water supply this year.
Together with the road construction (around 580,000 euros), these are due to the development of the new building area.
460,000 euros were budgeted for the acquisition of building land.
That's a total of 1.7 million euros for the community, which is constantly growing and enjoying increasing popularity - and therefore also needs more living space.
The fact that no borrowing is necessary is due to two factors: On the one hand, almost one million euros can be taken from the reserves and thus the pre-financing of the development can be covered.
Since some of the plots have already been sold, the municipality can already close the money gap to a large extent.
Thus, even this year, an allocation of 270,000 euros from the administrative budget to the property budget is planned.
“This means we can easily meet the prescribed minimum feed,” says Sepp.
Investments are also planned in the renovation and equipment of the kindergarten (83,000 euros), as well as 20,000 euros for village renewal and 50,000 euros for the Ingenried village park.
According to the financial plan, this will be one of the largest projects in 2023.
In addition, higher investment sums for the renovation of developed property are also planned for the next two years.
Depending on what comes out of the current village planning.
The Ingenrieder financial plan shows that the current budget is more of an upward trend that will not be repeated in this size anytime soon.
And yet it is planned solidly and without borrowing, Saur and Sepp agreed.
