LE FIGARO - You have just announced a 3.5% increase in the index point for civil servants.
Some unions feel that this is insufficient.
How do you answer them?
Stanislas GUERINI.-
This increase in the index point is the highest for 37 years.

This shows our ability to move forward, to make important decisions.
This increase comes on top of salary increases which this year will average 1.5% in the public service.
So that's a 5% raise on the payslip.
Obviously, this general measure comes in addition to the sectoral commitments made, for example, within the framework of the “Ségur de la
santé”, the “Grenelle or Education”.
