The "Ahen Thai" restaurant, which opened a few months ago on Lilienblum Street in Tel Aviv, made quite a bit of noise, for better or worse, and even caused quite a few arguments among fans of the genre and restaurant critics.
One of the things that stood out in it was the large sign that adorned one of the walls of the restaurant and read "Here you will not find Pad Thai", one of the favorite dishes of Thai restaurant lovers in the country.
As far as the chef, Meidad Stabinski, is concerned, Pad Thai does not belong in the Isani cuisine that the restaurant focuses on, and is therefore not on the menu.
But all this did not stop him from launching a new and intriguing "Next Generation" this week that will be dedicated exclusively to Isani-style Pad Thai.

Stabinski purchased the store adjacent to the restaurant and thus increased its area and added a kitchen that would allow it.
The kitchen is dedicated, as mentioned, only to Pad Thai which will be served in the afternoon only (12: 00-16: 00) when the options are chicken, vegan or vegetarian.
In the evening the space will become part of the "regular" dining.
