The “Welcome Eid” shopping festival, which started a week ago in the governorate square in the center of Homs, is witnessing a remarkable turnout from various social strata.

125 commercial and industrial events will participate in the festival and will continue until the eighth of next month and include a wide variety of commodities that meet the daily living needs of citizens of various types of food, clothing, detergents and others, with discounts of up to 30%, in addition to competitions and prizes for participants and visitors, as well as the joy train for children, modernity and heritage parties. .

SANA’s camera toured the festival and monitored the opinions of the participants, visitors and supervisors. The consensus was that the exhibits were excellent and cheaper than the rest of the markets. Maha Matar saw that the offers were appropriate and the prices were cheap compared to the rest of the markets, while Fatima Al-Shami confirmed that Homs is distinguished in its markets and prices suitable for different segments.

In the name of Masharqa, a producer of all kinds of sweets and comfort, participates in the festival with discounts of up to 25 percent, i.e. from the product to the consumer without an intermediary, especially with the approach of Eid.

Refaat Tawakkol, the exclusive agent for one of the consortium factories, says that the discounts on his products range between 15 and 25 percent, while Subaya Fletani participates in various clothing products at attractive prices through e-marketing.

In a pavilion selling honey products, Roni Al-Bitar says that discounts on his products reach 30%, and the turnout is good, while Alaa Al-Ali, supervisor of a pavilion selling medicinal herbs, says that her company in Tartous participates for the first time in the festival with special offers and has received a turnout of visitors.

For his part, Haitham Al-Badawi, director of a company in Aleppo for the production of detergents of all kinds, says that the aim of the participation is to introduce the product and market it at competitive prices, while Elissar Dakour, supervisor of Jinnah for the production of beverages and foodstuffs, indicated that discounts on all products reach up to 30%, and the turnout is good.

Firas Al-Mawsili, the organizer of the festival, pointed out that it comes before the advent of the blessed Eid Al-Adha, which constitutes an opportunity to shop for various products and commodities, as it is located in the center of the city and witnesses competition between producers and owners of participating events, and the goal is to promote and sell without an intermediary.
