Hama-Sana
As part of the Monodrama Theater Festival in its second session, it was held on the stage of the Arab Cultural Center in Hama, the theatrical performance “The Circle of Fire” written and directed by Muhammad Talawi and represented by Ghadeer Hamsho.
The show carries a lot of obsessions in the life of a female named Haneen who lived her youth and love in a cycle of fear and terror in times of war, and she had a share of love that attracted her at times and kept her in confusion at other times.
The director of the work, Muhammad Talawi, explained to Sana Al-Thaqafiah that the show was his first experience in writing for theater, and the script was born during a discussion session at the Monodrama Theatre.
And he indicated that the character lives the details of her day, talking about the love that burns her, and she talks about a circle of fear that revolves around her that makes her dreams nightmares, as the circle revolves around our lives with all its details.
Actress Ghadeer Hamsho expressed her happiness with the performance of the character Haneen, who created love within her, a kind of delirium, to wake up from the nightmares she lives on a daily basis, and narrate her story with her lover who was exhausted by life. We surrender to fear so as not to let the circle of fire devour our souls and die.
The Monodrama Theater Festival will conclude its performances tomorrow with the theatrical performance “Resurrection” written by Mamdouh Adwan and directed by Hussein Arab on the stage of the Arab Cultural Center in Hama.
