The US National Hurricane Center warned today of a tropical storm that will hit Central America in the coming hours, likely to turn into a hurricane.
And the Associated Press quoted the center as saying: "The storm is moving westward at a speed of 31 kilometers per hour and is expected to hit Nicaragua and Costa Rica as a tropical storm later."
He added that "the storm swept the northern part of Colombia and was centered 1140 kilometers east of Bluefields on the coast of Nicaragua overlooking the Atlantic Ocean," noting that "the fast cyclone known as the second tropical cyclone has inundated parts of the Caribbean since last Monday."
The storm hit the Caribbean yesterday, accompanied by heavy rain and floods.
