Former United States President Donald Trump today (Thursday) referred to the upcoming Israeli election campaign and said he was not sure he would support former prime minister and Likud chairman Benjamin Netanyahu and claimed he was disappointed in some ways.
Trump was interviewed by the news site and news channel "News Max" and said: "I was disappointed in him in some ways but in general I liked him very much."
Trump added that "if he runs, I will definitely consider it, but I do not commit. I do not know what will happen."
In the past, Trump attacked Netanyahu with very harsh words for not standing by him after the 2020 election.
In an interview with Barak Ravid, Trump said Netanyahu betrayed him.
"No one is more for Netanyahu than me, I loved Bibi, I still love him. But I also love loyalty. He could have kept quiet and not congratulated Biden. He made a mistake."
Trump also referred to the testimony of Cassidy Hutchinson, who worked for his chief of staff, Mark Maddouz, and said her allegations that he was rampant, threw things at the wall and even slammed his security guards "completely insane."
