Alfred Barth remains head of TSV Wolfratshausen.

At the annual meeting, the club boss again denounced abuses.

Wolfratshausen – The members of TSV Wolfratshausen recently confirmed the previous chairman Alfred Barth in office by acclamation at the general meeting in the sports hall of the Isar-Loisach stadium.

He is supported by his deputy Walter Halamek, secretary Ralf Maar, treasurer Maria Burger and club youth director Anna Rummel.

Before the elections, Alfred Barth again denounced grievances such as dilapidated sports halls and a lack of equipment.

Chairman calls for better framework conditions for athletes

In his statement of accounts, the TSV chairman repeatedly called for better framework conditions to be created in Wolfratshausen for the approximately 4,000 organized athletes.

"A new sports hall, better stadium equipment for school sports and the waiver of rental and usage costs for sports clubs are not off the table," Barth warned.

There is a freeze on admissions in some divisions

Against this background, it is all the more gratifying that the TSV, in contrast to other clubs in the area, has stable membership numbers.

Nevertheless, the squares and halls were hardly sufficient to meet the demand.

"In some divisions there are already longer waiting lists and admission stops, which represent a fiasco for an amateur club," reported Barth.

He called the still leaking triple gym at the hammersmith school "devastating" for a regulated sports operation.

The now beginning repair of the roof damage is overdue.

Barth also recognized a considerable need for improvement in the Isar Loisach Stadium.

"In order to be able to hold larger sports festivals, there is a lack of elementary athletics equipment such as electronic time, distance and wind measurement as well as more hurdles," said the TSV boss.

In order to ensure weather protection, the construction of a small grandstand is desirable.

Barth praised the recent LED upgrade of the floodlight system.

Finally, the TSV boss thanked the many volunteer coaches who needed even more support.

The association is desperately looking for young adults who want to do a voluntary social year (FSJ) at TSV and, above all, lead the training sessions in the afternoon.

After all, 949 of the 1730 members are under 26 years old.

Reports from department heads made it clear that TSV is still well positioned in football, athletics, gymnastics, skiing, handball and table tennis.

The track and field athletes in particular have achieved good results at Bavarian and German championships.

The organizational talent of the active TSV members is in demand again at the city run on July 10th and at the summer party on July 22nd in the Isar-Loisach-Stadion.
