On the side of the PS, the president of the socialist group in the National Assembly, Boris Vallaud, believes that the election of these two vice-presidents illustrates a “trivialization of the far right”.
“There are 200 deputies who are not from the National Rally who voted for the National Rally, when they had other choices.
This means that the trivialization of the extreme right continues to be at work.

The battle for positions in the National Assembly remains "far from the concerns" of Fabien Roussel.
“The fight for places, as we say at home, it horrifies my guts.
