Lena Meyer-Landrut apparently has enough of social networks like Instagram.
Now the pop singer revealed that she is seriously considering deleting the apps from her smartphone.
Although she still "didn't have the heart to take this step", she seemed sure of herself.
Berlin – Lena Meyer-Landrut (all news about the pop singer) likes to say her opinion openly and directly, which is why she is sometimes considered a friend of critical words – so also up to date: the 31-year-old has been with the social networks and for a while to quarrel with the illusory world depicted on it.
Now she is planning a consistent step.
Lena Meyer-Landrut clearly criticizes social networks – "Too much information and stimuli"
"No one is always happy," Lena Meyer-Landrut vented her anger about social networks in May, now the "Eurovision Song Contest" winner from 2010 is again criticizing Instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp and Co.:
"I I feel more and more that I can no longer cope with too much information and stimuli.
I need longer to recover and a lot more rest than a few years ago," the 31-year-old told the
German Press Agency
.
This sensory overload and the fact that the representations on social networks have little to do with real life occupy the pop singer so much that she would like to take a radical step: "I haven't gotten the heart to do it yet, WhatsApp and deleting Instagram, but I don't think it will be long now."
Lena Meyer-Landrut especially annoyed by WhatsApp messages – "Makes me really crazy"
However, Lena Meyer-Landrut (here the pop singer has already appeared in film and television) will have to think twice about such a step, because she doesn't really want to do without uploading photos or using helpful applications such as Google Maps.
On the other hand, she seems to have already finished with WhatsApp: "Thousands (...) messages a day and group chats, that makes me really crazy."
Other stars don't really like the direction in which our society is developing as a result of the strong influence of the Internet: Thomas Gottschalk recently raged about "soft-boiled and anxious" influencers and reality stars - words that those affected will not exactly take with pleasure.
