Thomas Gottschalk has often made it clear that he doesn't think much of the social media stars.
They are among the most influential people of our time.
Now he has commented again on influencers and reality stars and has a clear opinion on their appearance.
Munich - When "Wetten, dass...?" returned to TV last winter, it became apparent that the ZDF show didn't want to do without social media stars either.
Lisa & Lena, the famous twins, who became known worldwide through the social media platform Musical.ly (today TikTok), got the job as backstage presenters that evening.
Moderator Thomas Gottschalk was still pulling influencers a few hours before.

Thomas Gottschalk doesn't really know what to do with the new generation, which is shaped by social media networks and influencers.
They have become an integral part of the entertainment world.
Even before the start of the "Wetten, dass..." show, he said last November: "It can't be with me.
It will be like it always was.
I said it's important to me that I really know everyone who sits on the bench with me.
That you don't have to explain it to me.
Please spare me any influencers or something."
Now there is another swipe at the influencers and social media stars from the 72-year-old.
"I have to be careful that I don't waste all my time insulting any reality stars or YouTube influencers because I don't believe in them," says the interview with the Süddeutsche Zeitung.
In his opinion, today's stars are "
so soft-boiled and so anxious to succeed.
She's under so much pressure.
I'm sorry for that."
Thomas Gottschalk got to know the hard school at the beginning of his career: "That's what reality fools lack"
At the beginning of his career in the media industry, the 72-year-old got to know the "hard school of entertainment", as he explained in the interview.
He couldn't understand what reality TV stars in particular do.
"This hard school connects and that's what the reality idiots lack today," says the moderator.

The entertainer is an open and honest person - he doesn't talk to anyone.
If he has something to say or wants to announce, then he does it. Thomas Gottschalk revealed a few days ago that he does not regret the separation of his ex-wife Thea.
"It was a life decision that I don't regret a day," said the moderator.
