Albane, interim nurse: "without the interim, I would have changed jobs"

Tired of a low-paid job for a very high number of hours, this nurse has rediscovered a taste for her profession with the interim. But is aware that the system works backwards.


The applause addressed to the nursing staff during the confinements will have done nothing.

Exhausted, physically and morally, from the pandemic, Albane, a 27-year-old nurse, ended her CDI last January to regain control of her life as a temporary worker.

"The calculation was quickly made: before, I earned 1800 euros per month by working every other weekend and following a schedule that offered me no freedom, and today I earn more than 3000 euros by exercising four days a week, which gives me the time and money to go on vacation but above all the possibility of following a very valuable hypnotherapy training in palliative care and another in emergency tropical medicine which will be useful to me if I want to go back on a mission with Doctors Without Borders.”

Graduated three years ago, the young Vannetaise expatriate for four years in Paris is delighted, without blushing, with her new status: beyond being able to attend weddings on Saturdays...
