Changed his mind:
U.S. President Joe Biden last week sharply attacked the U.S. Supreme Court's decision to overturn a ruling that allows states to allow abortions.
"A cruel and tragic decision" Biden called it (watch the video above).
However, rummaging through the archives finds that Baiden, who was initially considered a conservative Democrat, once held completely different views.
In 1973, as a young senator, he rejected the original decision to allow abortions.
"A woman does not have the exclusive right to say what should happen to her body," Biden was quoted as saying at the time.
The things appear in a 2019 article in the New York Times.

However, it should not be taken until 1973. In 2006, Biden argued that "abortion is not a right, it is a tragedy. Abortions should be rare and safe, they should be restricted and they should be done by consensus."
