District – Random tests of asymptomatic people – so-called citizen tests – have been restricted since June 30th.
This emerges from the Third Amendment Ordinance of the Federal Coronavirus Test Ordinance (TestV).
From now on, only certain groups of people are entitled to a free rapid test, such as those who have been proven to be infected, contact persons of infected people, people in facilities such as hospitals and nursing homes, or people who want to have a positive antigen rapid test confirmed.
"Appropriate
proof
must always be submitted, but federal guidelines are still expected," the district office announced.
"Bavaria has already announced that it will implement the obligation to provide evidence of free corona tests with the lowest possible level of evidence, for example for
caring relatives
," informs the Fürstenfeldbruck district office.
Three euros per test
The other persons entitled to take a test who are not entitled to a free test will in future have to pay a personal contribution of three euros from their own funds for
a
citizen
test
.
This includes, for example, people who want to attend an indoor event on the day of the test or who have received a warning with the status display increased risk on the Corona-Warn-App.
The option provided in the TestVO that the federal states can take over their own share has not been used in Bavaria (at least as of now).
In test centers of the district office only with claim
For the two test centers of the district office in Fürstenfeldbruck and Germering, this means that from now on only people who are entitled to a free test without a personal contribution according to the new TestV can be tested there with a quick test.
People who have to pay their own share must contact private providers.
The regulations for PCR tests, on the other hand, remain untouched.
