Úsuga was extradited to the US in May to face various charges, including leading a criminal enterprise and participating in an international conspiracy to manufacture and distribute cocaine, according to the Justice Department.
"Otoniel" pleaded not guilty to all charges in federal court in New York City and also denied all charges while under arrest in Colombia.
Nini Úsuga David was notified of her extradition in March, through a resolution issued by the United States Attorney General's Office, according to the Colombian National Police.
