The sister of suspected Colombian drug trafficker Dairo Usuga, also known by the alias "Otoniel," has been extradited to the United States to face drug charges, the Colombian National Police announced Friday.

Úsuga was extradited to the US in May to face various charges, including leading a criminal enterprise and participating in an international conspiracy to manufacture and distribute cocaine, according to the Justice Department.

"Otoniel" pleaded not guilty to all charges in federal court in New York City and also denied all charges while under arrest in Colombia.

Nini Úsuga David was notified of her extradition in March, through a resolution issued by the United States Attorney General's Office, according to the Colombian National Police.

CNN contacted Nini Úsuga David's attorney, who declined to comment on the court case.
