The current situation seems to me to be a paroxysmal moment in a crisis that comes from afar.

We see today La France insoumise and the RN rejoicing in what they consider a victory.

But against what social and cultural background?

This background is deeply marked by a destructuring of the relationship to politics.

In my opinion, it is necessary to go back more than thirty years to better understand its genesis.

The moment when François Mitterrand changed his economic policy in 1983-1984 marked an important turning point in a disconcerting new way of governing.

To summarize it in three main features, there is first a headlong rush, a managerial policy which affirms that we have no choice, that we must adapt and that it is important to move forward forward without really knowing where we are going.
