Update from June 30, 12:53 p.m

.: The Russian lower house has further tightened legislation against foreign and domestic media.

A law now passed by the Duma gives the Attorney General and his deputies far-reaching powers: they can restrict or ban the work of foreign media in Russia if their governments treat Russian media "unfriendly".

The law, published on the parliament's website, also allows prosecutors to immediately suspend Russian media if they disseminate information deemed untrue, lacking "respect for society or the constitution" or discrediting the Russian armed forces.

A court no longer has to be involved beforehand.

The dissemination of "discrediting information about the Russian armed forces" can already be punished with up to 15 years in prison.

Ukraine News: Putin punishes media in Ukraine war

The tightened rules against foreign media are presented as a retaliatory measure against corresponding bans in western countries.

In several countries, a broadcasting ban was imposed on the Russian state broadcaster Russia Today (RT), which is accused of spreading “disinformation” by the Kremlin.

The law still has to be passed by the upper house and signed by Kremlin leader Vladimir Putin before it comes into force.

Both are considered a mere formality.

Vladimir Putin's true goal is NATO.

To this end, Moscow is also using hunger as an instrument to cause waves of migration.

The Kremlin is also using energy resources to force Europe to give up “your freedom, your democracy and your values”.

Ukraine's goals, on the other hand, are congruent with those of NATO.

"We are interested in security and stability on the European continent and in the world," said Zelenskyy.

Helping Ukraine win the war on the battlefield is in the interests of the alliance, Zelenskyy said.

Cherson should become "a full member" of Russia.

However, Kyiv assumes that such alleged referendums are only possible with Moscow's approval or rather by order.

Kindergartens, schools, shopping centers and residential buildings in Ukraine would not be accidentally hit by rockets: "The world can and must end Russian terror."

According to Zelenskyy, "more than 1,000 people" were in the mall when it was attacked.

Macron makes a clear announcement to Putin in the Ukraine war

Update from June 28, 3:15 p.m .:

"Russia cannot and must not win," said the 44-year-old on Tuesday: "Our support for Ukraine and our sanctions against Russia will therefore remain as long as necessary and as strong as necessary." Either a complete victory for Ukraine must be achieved reached or the opportunity for negotiations created.

"There are no other options that support the G7 or France."

Macron judged Vladimir Putin to have given up his ambiguous behavior.

At first he still had the impression that Putin wanted to negotiate.

"Now everything's clear.

The Russian attack on Ukrainian soil has one goal: the surrender of Ukraine.” Macron recently released recordings of a conversation with Putin.

However, Macron does not want to hope for an early end to the war.

"No one expects the war to end in the next few weeks or months." The French President was probably also addressing his Ukrainian counterpart Zelenskyy.

The price for freedom is worth paying, the British prime minister told the BBC on Monday on the sidelines of the G7 summit at Schloss Elmau.

It took democracies a long time to find an answer to tyranny and aggression in the middle of the 20th century, and the process was very expensive.

"But with the defeat of the dictators, most notably Nazi Germany, it brought many decades of stability, a world order based on a rules-based international system," Johnson said.

"It's worth protecting, it's worth defending, it brings long-term prosperity."

Regarding this, the Ukrainian President said: “I know that the people of Belarus support us, only us, not the war.

And that's why the Russian leadership wants to drag you into a war."

Weapons for Ukraine: USA are planning further deliveries in the Ukraine war

Zelenskyy, who will speak at the G7 summit on Monday, also called for more weapons in view of Russian attacks.

Apparently, the US is already planning further deliveries to Ukraine.
