A couple of leaders of a social structure in Noirétable (Loire), whose husband is suspected of abuse, sexual assault and rape of adolescents, were indicted and imprisoned on Friday evening July 1, we learned from of the parquet floor of Saint-Etienne.

Arrested on Wednesday, they were presented to an examining magistrate on Friday after 48 hours in police custody at the gendarmerie in Montbrison (Loire).
The 50-year-old husband was indicted for "
rape and sexual assault by a person in authority to the detriment of four victims (three of whom were minors at the time of the rapes reported), sexual assault on two other minors and usual violence against minors under the age of 15
”, according to the public prosecutor of Saint-Etienne, David Charmatz.
Ill-treatment of minors
The magistrate indicated that this last qualification refers to "
the ill-treatment regularly inflicted and denounced by most of the 15 residents and former residents of the place of residence who were able to be heard
".
He specified that the facts denounced are between 2015 and 2022. The main respondent, who denies the alleged facts, was placed in pre-trial detention, as well as his wife, aged 47, indicted on the sole count of “
non-denunciation of ill-treatment, deprivation, assault or sexual abuse inflicted on a minor
”.
She was imprisoned "
mainly to protect minors from any influence during the time of the investigation, as many investigations remain to
be carried out", underlined the magistrate.
The latter further indicated that “
other revelations concerning the living conditions and, more generally, the functioning of this authorized living space, will give rise to another investigation
”.
Embezzlement
The couple of leaders, employees of the association Les Bois noirs chaired since 2009 by the mother-in-law of the husband, is also suspected of having diverted for their personal use part of the financing (149 euros per day and per child ) child welfare.

The prosecution clarified that it was "
following two reports to number 119 of the national telephone reception service for children in danger
" of two young adult women, previously placed in this structure, that the protection services children of the Loire Departmental Council withdrew the nine children entrusted to the Les Bois noirs living and reception center at the beginning of June.
