The Sparrow and Musical Choir of the Forstern Singing Circle will be showing the musical "Wimba... and the Secret in the Jungle" on Sunday, July 3rd.

Forstern

– When music teacher Konrad Huber and his Spatzen and Musical Choir show two performances of the musical “Wimba... and the Secret in the Jungle” for children and young people aged six to 14 on Sunday, July 3rd, the motto is: From into the jungle!

“In the jungle you never really know what is fake and what is real.” This also becomes clear to a young research team when they set out to explore the jungle.

When it reaches a clearing through a mysterious stalactite cave, strange things happen: mobile phone and compass fail, one member of the group disappears, talking animals and plants appear.

When an eerie block of stone announces a festival of sacrifices, the situation becomes threatening.

With this exciting musical, Huber and the young musicians want to kidnap children and young people into a fantastic dream world.

Ulrike and Gerhard Weiler as well as Gerhard A. Meyer wrote the story with a lot of wordplay and composed a jungle sound of rock, pop, reggae and ska that encourages you to sing along - "definitely an entertaining treat for the whole family," promises Huber.

In addition to the Spatzen and Musical Choir of the Singkreis Forstern, participants include Rosy Hemingway on the piano, Tilda Bányász-Németh on the keyboard, Christian Obermaier on the drums and choir director Huber on the guitar.

The musical can be seen at 3 p.m. and 5 p.m. in the small gymnasium of the Forstern school.

Admission is free, but donations for the choir work are gladly accepted.
