The new Corona regulation has been in effect one day earlier than expected since yesterday.

The contact points in the district had adjusted to July 1st and were accordingly caught cold in the morning.

The implementation of the paid tests was difficult.

District – The head of the corona test station at Weilheimer Trifthof, Dr.

Wilhelm Fischer was still digging through the new ordinance that had just reached him in the morning.

Among other things, it regulates who has to be asked to pay for the rapid tests and who does not.

For example, “people who want to attend an indoor event on the day of the test” or citizens whose Corona warning app has worked pay three euros.

The full price - the pharmacies usually charge twelve euros - has to be shelled out if you are tested without a good reason.

Fischer ignored the regulation yesterday: "We will not reject anyone today," he made clear.

The regulation came “very abruptly” and the state had to pay for the losses.

As of today, things look different: The facility at Trifthof, which is operated jointly by the health department and the hospital GmbH, now only offers free citizen tests.

So only people from “vulnerable groups” are allowed to come.

These include, for example, people who have not been vaccinated for medical reasons, pregnant women in the first trimester, children under five years of age, "free testers", caring relatives and visitors to hospitals, nursing homes, day clinics and other facilities and, of course, "household members of people who are proven to be infected".

The free test form must be stamped in advance at the clinic reception

Although Fischer tries to keep the bureaucracy as low as possible, the reason for the free test must of course be proven on site.

Yesterday, hospital spokeswoman Isa Berndt initially puzzled over the easiest way for her clients to do this.

At noon, however, she presented a form that relatives of patients who want to visit receive.

It is stamped at the receptions of the clinics in Schongau and Weilheim.

Upon presentation, the relatives then receive the free test in the various contact points.

Yesterday, Berndt once again pointed out how important the tests are so that the virus is not carried into the clinics.

The incidence is increasing, yesterday twelve corona patients were treated in the houses in Weilheim and Schongau, two of them in the intensive care units.

Certificates of entitlement for relatives are also available in the nursing homes.

In the Heilig-Geist-Spital in Schongau, people waited in vain for the new forms yesterday.

"If we don't get anything from the official side, we will make something ourselves and show it to our visitors," announced nursing service manager Claudia Romeike on request.

In the Weilheim community center, on the other hand, the old forms that were issued the previous year when the tests were already subject to a fee were used.

This was confirmed by an employee on request.

Fortunately, there are still enough test stations

Fortunately, there are still enough free and paid test options, at least in the larger municipalities in the district (see below).

As reported, the test station of the Karwendel pharmacy in Oderding stopped operating yesterday, but another pharmacy in Weilheim has expanded its operations: In the station pharmacy, not only visitors to the community center are now being tested, but all interested parties.

The pharmacists were also surprised yesterday by the regulation that came into force overnight: At least in the test center of the Mariepharmacy in Schongau, citizens were therefore spared the three or twelve euros that have to be paid for the tests.

"We'll take care of that, there weren't that many," said Johanna Flitsch-Hirschvogel after the end of the test at 10 a.m.

Starting today, the pharmacist will also have the evidence shown to her.

For example, if you want to go to a concert in the evening and ask for a test with an additional payment of three euros, you have to show your admission ticket.

Yesterday the rush was still great in the Weilheim Olympia pharmacy.

Owner Korbinian Kuhn counted around 30 tests by noon.

According to him, nobody had complained about the tests, some of which are now subject to a fee.

People are much happier "that we're going to continue".

But: "The scope of the control, as it must be done now, is an impertinence and unrealistic."
