The exact course of events has not yet been clarified.
What is certain, however, is that a twelve-year-old was hit by a car on Poinger Bergfeldstrasse.
Poing - Fortunately, a boy was only slightly injured in a traffic accident on Thursday, June 30, around 6:40 p.m. on Bergfeldstrasse.
According to the initial knowledge of the Poing police, a 43-year-old Poinger drove his car, Audi A3, down Bergfeldstraße in the direction of Wilhelm-Hauff-Straße.
A 12-year-old boy first stood on the sidewalk in front of his parents' house, let a vehicle pass on the roadway and then crossed the street himself.
The boy probably didn't look to the right
At that moment, according to the police, the boy looked to the left and did not see the approaching car from the right.
The driver of the car tried to avoid a collision by evasive maneuvers to the left, but he was unable to do so in time.
The Audi hit the child with its front, which caused the child to be pressed onto the hood and then fell to the ground.
The boy suffered minor injuries in the collision and suffered abrasions to his knees and elbows.
He was taken to hospital by ambulance to determine if there were any other injuries.
The investigations into the exact course of the accident and the circumstances are being conducted by the PI Poing.
Two rescue service vehicles, an emergency doctor and a patrol crew from PI Poing were deployed.
If there are witnesses who can describe the course of the accident, they are asked to contact the police in Poing on 08121/99170.
