Authorities said that so far, 25 temporary shelters have been opened in various districts, with a total of 38 people staying.
The Social Welfare Department also announced that its welfare service units, centres providing after-school care services and elderly service centres, which normally operate on Sundays and public holidays, have been temporarily closed.
