A severe storm hit the Miesbach district on Thursday evening.
But the hours that followed, the sky shone unreal beautifully.
Three pictures from our readers and our photographer.

The colorful play of light spans a wide arc over the Wallberg.
As on the vineyard in Schliersee (see Miesbach), the rainbow could also be seen twice over Wallberg after the storm on Thursday evening.
Physicists call this phenomenon “secondary rainbows”.
Our reader Jürgen Hohmeier from Kreuth photographed the impressive scenery.
Everywhere in the district the mood after the thunderstorm was as peaceful as here.
This can also be seen in the photo below.

At the end of the rainbow, leprechauns hide their treasures.
Even if it's just a fairy tale: A rainbow is always spectacular to look at.
Especially when it's a double, like this one that our reader Franko Fürstenhoff photographed on Thursday evening after the storm at the vineyard in Schliersee.
"What a great atmosphere," he wrote to us, and one has to say: he's right.
The calm after the storm

It flashed, thundered and stormed violently on Thursday evening in the Miesbach district.
But shortly after the storm the sky cleared again - and allowed the evening sun to color the steam that rose from the wet meadows a bright yellow.
Our photographer Stefan Schweihofer captured this scenery near Großpienzenau.
