The Directorate of Internal Trade and Consumer Protection in Daraa organized nine catering seizures that affected bakeries, a service driver and a food store, in accordance with Legislative Decree No. 8 of 2021.
The Director of Internal Trade and Consumer Protection, Yahya Abdullah, told SANA reporter that the seizures that were organized yesterday affected the owner of Dahdal bakery in Nawa, for violating the weight of bundles of bread and a fine of 2,484 million Syrian pounds, and the two owners of Al-Musaifra bakery for the same violation. The first was fined 726 thousand pounds and the second 660 thousand pound.
He added that the consumer protection patrols organized seizures against the owner of Nassib and Al-Golan bakeries in Sheikh Miskin for violating the production of poorly made bread, and the owners of Al-Amer and Al-Masry bakeries in Taseel for violating working hours.
Abdullah explained that the arrests affected a service driver on the Daraa line, Al-Sheikh Miskin, with a violation of not announcing the fees for transporting passengers and a food store in Ankhil, violating the presentation of illegal purchase invoices.
