Iran's permanent representative to the United Nations, Majid Takht Ravanchi, reiterated his country's position on the necessity of full and effective implementation of the nuclear agreement, and that there is no alternative to it.

IRNA quoted Takht Ravanchi as telling reporters yesterday after a regular meeting of the UN Security Council that Iran is committed to multilateral diplomacy, the result of which should be to ensure the "effective and verifiable" lifting of all illegal sanctions..
