A 16-year-old teenager who was riding a bicycle on the road died this Friday evening in Villejuif (Val-de-Marne).
He was hit by a vehicle that was traveling "at high speed" according to a source close to the investigation.
The victim died on the spot.
The facts took place around 10 p.m., in the Carrefour hypermarket sector, while the teenager, a resident of Cité Lamartine, was returning home with a take-out meal order.

The driver of the vehicle, whose state of health is unknown, was exfiltrated by the police as he faced a very angry crowd.

The vehicle, an Audi RS3, whose engine was still running around 11:30 p.m., was examined by the scientific police while the victim's body was protected under a tarpaulin from the Paris fire brigade.
