The journalist from the digital newspaper Primicias Jorge Ortiz said in an interview with Camilo that former Ecuadorian President Rafael Correa "without a doubt" was behind the violent protests that paralyzed the country for 18 days.
According to Ortiz, Correa is interested in bringing down the government of President Guillermo Lasso, especially now that a trial is looming against one of his closest associates in a federal court in South Florida.
