The American police announced that two of its officers were killed and five others were wounded in a shooting in the southeastern state of Kentucky.
CBS News quoted the police as saying that a group of its members went to the house of Lance Storrs to arrest him on charges related to murder and domestic violence, but they were subjected to heavy fire by the accused, killing two of its members and wounding 4 others, in addition to an official in the Emergency Authority.
According to the police, Storrs was summoned earlier to a trial in Pike County, where the judge charged him with attempted murder and assault and set a $10 million bail for his temporary release pending the actual trial.
