The head of the Judicial Subcommittee for Elections in Damascus, Judge Maymon Ezz El-Din, announced the closure of the ballot boxes for the elections to fill the vacant seat for membership in the People's Assembly for the electoral district of Damascus Governorate for Sector B.
Judge Ezz El-Din said in a statement to SANA that the voting process has been completed in all the polling stations and the polling center committees have started the process of counting the votes.
It is noteworthy that the elections began this morning to fill the vacant seat for the membership of the People's Assembly for the electoral district of Damascus Governorate for Sector B, where the 80 centers were distributed over the entire area of Damascus, while the number of candidates reached 17 candidates.
