Iranian police seized more than 1.5 tons of drugs in the southeastern provinces of Sistan and Baluchestan.
The Iranian news agency IRNA quoted the police chief of Sistan and Baluchestan, Brigadier General Ahmed Taheri, as saying today that the province's anti-drug police, with intelligence support from the Internal Security Forces, managed to seize the movements of members of a drug smuggling gang that intended to transport large shipments of drugs from the city of Saravan to the cities of Khash and Iranshahr and then smuggle them. to the central regions of the country.
Taheri explained that more than a ton and 671 kilograms of drugs were seized, in addition to the arrest of four gang members.
