Great theatre, great fun: for the first time in two years, the Langenpreising theater association is back on stage, which means the world to the active members.

That's how the dress rehearsal went.

Langenpreising - The classic "A Munich in heaven and in hell", which the club brought to the stage in 2000, has been completely reinterpreted and included in the program with a lot of humor.

Our newspaper visited the dress rehearsal on Thursday.

Many of the actors from back then slipped back into their old roles.

Incomparable: Georg Böck as Alois Hingerl, who annoys everyone with his typical Bavarian manner to such an extent that there is even no place for him in hell.

For the bailiff, who suddenly collapsed in the Hofbräuhaus, that would have been the maximum penalty: "Loud praise!" The deceased did not want to leave the earth.

And what comes next turns the piece into really big theatre: he tries to trick Boandlkramer (Ludwig Denk) in the manner of Brandner Kaspar.

But he learned his lesson from the bankruptcy with Kaspar from Brandner.

And so Hingerl loses in the Hofbräuhaus and he has to start his journey to heaven.

But how: On the fourth (!) stage there is a large screen, and there you can see the Boandlkramer driving through the landscape on the well-known vintage vehicle – a motorcycle in the front, a loading area in the back.

Somehow the old grumbler has to be taken to heaven.

Denk is a fantastic cast as Boandlkramer, mutated into a real character actor who even remotely reminds of Klaus Kinski as Mephisto.

In heaven, Hingerl meets Archangel Michael (Bruno Janke), a truly strict guardian of heaven's entrance, and Peter.

Mayor Josef Straßer probably didn't even have to put on a mask for this role.

It just fit.

And there angel Aloisius is now sitting on his cloud, supposed to rejoice - but then states: "Lujah, sog i!

That can't go well in the long run, the Boandlkramer has to play taxi again, now to hell." But not even "Sparifankal" (Gisela Straßer) can get along with the Munich player there.

At the premiere on Friday evening, visitors could see what happens next.

And of course you can do it at the other performances this Saturday and Sunday as well as at the weekend, 9./10.

July experience.

Remaining tickets at the box office are only available on Sundays.

It's going to be sporty for the guests, as the four stages - said canvas, heaven, hell and Hofbräuhaus - are distributed around the square in the former kindergarten area.

In between there's beer garden seating, all around food stands.

All of this should have been offered two years ago, for the anniversary of the theater association.

Just couldn't.

It promises to be even more fun this year.
