A Mitsubishi van was driving on the freeway with a more than adventurous roof load – the police ended the dangerous journey.
Langwedel – Not every cargo is suitable for every vehicle.
But not every car or truck driver is dissuaded from trying it anyway.
For example, a small car driver recently packed 400 packs of flour into his vehicle – without the appropriate safeguards.
The transport of a VW Polo on a scrap heap was also quite adventurous.
In Lower Saxony, the police pulled a Mitsubishi van out of traffic - with a huge load on the roof.

As the photo published by the police shows, the Mitsubishi Space Star was not exactly inconspicuous with its roof luggage: the insulation panels lashed to the roof rack almost doubled the height of the van.
The roof rack was overloaded by about 100 kilos due to the heavy load, officials report.
The cargo was not adequately secured either.

However, such risky transport operations are usually not only dangerous for the transport companies, but above all for other road users - as is the case with a Ford Transit, from which dozens of wooden slats protruded a good 2.5 meters from the open rear door.
Due to the incorrect loading, the front wheels of the vehicle sometimes completely lost contact with the ground.

Particularly daring: the Mitsubishi driver was actually on the freeway with the dangerous roof load.
The Langwedel motorway police finally stopped the Japan van, which was driving on the A27 towards Hanover, at the Goldbach-Süd rest area.
The 47-year-old driver was forbidden to continue driving – and administrative offense proceedings were initiated against him.
