Opposition-affiliated media reported today (Saturday) a major explosion that took place at the Iranian Revolutionary Guards base "Malik Eshtar" outside the capital Tehran.
The blast reportedly occurred on the night between Monday and Wednesday and was caused as a result of a deliberate sabotage.
No injuries or damage were reported.
Surfers on social media in the country posted a video in which the explosion was seen and heard.
In addition, surfers claimed to have heard the explosion and saw strong flashes.
Officials in Iran did not comment on the incident, but the telegram channels affiliated with the Revolutionary Guards reported extensively on the explosion and even hinted that it was an Israeli operation.
