The IDF intercepted 3 Hezbollah aircraft that made their way to the gas rig
The aircraft arrived around 15:00 from the direction of Lebanon, over the Mediterranean Sea, towards a shark rig, and were intercepted by fighter jets and a missile ship, which for the first time used a lightning missile.
The aircraft were unarmed and did not pose a threat to the gas rig, but according to the IDF, this is an attempt to damage stability and negotiations on the maritime border.

Three unmanned Hezbollah aircraft were identified and intercepted today (Saturday).
The hostile aircraft arrived around 15:00 from the direction of Lebanon, over the Mediterranean Sea, towards a shark rig in Israel's economic waters, and were intercepted by fighter jets and a missile ship.
For the first time, navy ships participated in the interception, which the IDF defines as a success, by launching a lightning missile.
Preliminary investigation shows that due to the fact that there were no sub-explosions, the aircraft were unarmed and did not pose a threat to the gas rig. Still not producing gas, they define the event as an attempt to undermine stability and put pressure on the maritime border managed by the political echelon.
Apparently, the unmanned aircraft were activated in favor of provocation and intelligence gathering on the gas rig.

The UAVs flew at a very low altitude relative to their normal flight layout and posed a challenge to the detection systems, but were identified ahead of time.
Now, the question in the defense establishment is whether Hezbollah intends to escalate the space or just have a spotty effect on the negotiations. The navy will increase its forces in the space and raise the level of alert until further notice.

At the beginning of June, the first ship arrived to build a shark rig, about 80 km off the coast of Haifa, where Lebanon claims it is its economic water. Hezbollah has warned that it will take "including the use of force" against Israeli gas activities in
the
disputed maritime area, a Hezbollah deputy leader told Reuters.
