Erding – A special concert awaits visitors on July 3rd at 7 p.m. in the Klettham Church of the Redeemer.

The Mosaic Treble Choir will perform, conducted by Emily Turner.

The Mosaic Treble Choir was formed in September 2021 as a treble vocal ensemble for children ages 10 and up in the greater city of Durham, North Carolina.

The choir aims to provide young singers with an opportunity to learn and perform excellent vocal music in a respectful, inclusive atmosphere.

Choir directors Amy Davies and Emily Turner, along with pianist Pam Stewart, have identified the need for young female singers to sing together and express themselves artistically in a safe environment during the pandemic.

From its very first season, the choir has garnered widespread attention in Durham, performing its music in churches, cultural institutions and social gatherings.

This year the choir, along with the highly regarded Raleigh Boychoir, performed The Polar Express with the North Carolina Symphony.

Another highlight were concerts with the Carmina Burana in the program, together with the Chapel Hill Chorus.

Choir director Emily Turner is very excited to be taking her upper voice choir with the young singers on their first international concert tour this summer and to giving their audience a wonderful musical experience with performances in Vienna, Salzburg, Mondsee and Erding.

Admission to the concert is free.

A donation is requested.

The proceeds go to the work of the Church of the Redeemer.
