Today, the Ministry of Agriculture and Agrarian Reform released the results of the secondary certificate exams in its three specializations “agricultural, veterinary and agricultural machinery” for the first session of 2022.
In a statement to SANA reporter, the Director of Vocational Education in the ministry, Engineer Hazar Ismail, indicated that the number of students applying for the exam reached 1604 students from the three majors, including 1096 students in agriculture, 496 students in veterinary and 12 students in agricultural machines, while the success rate was 44.2 percent.
Ismail explained that from the second day following the issuance of the results of the first session and for a period of five days only, including official holidays, secondary school students with the three specializations can object to their results in two subjects at most.
Ismail indicated that the holder of the first and second place among the successful people at the country level in the previous three specializations benefits from the monthly financial reward stipulated in Legislative Decree No. 26 of 2021, at a value of 45,000 Syrian pounds, in the first session exclusively.
She added: "3 percent of the number of successful candidates in each governorate in each specialty accepts direct admission without preference in the "Faculty of Agriculture", "Faculty of Veterinary Medicine" and "Faculty of Mechanical Engineering" according to the specialization, for the successful in the first cycle exclusively" and a percentage of 3 The next percent for study in agricultural and veterinary technical institutes and agricultural mechanization is direct acceptance without preference.”
Ismail indicated that the first male students at the governorate level can apply to study at the “Arab Technical Institute for Agriculture and Fisheries” according to the comparison and the Forestry Directorate’s need for forest observers, indicating that the remaining successful students from both the first and second cycles are entitled to apply for the differentiation of intermediate institutes that will be announced later Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
She pointed out that registration for the exams for the second session 2022 starts from the morning of the second day following the release of the results of the first session until Sunday 17-7-2022, including official holidays.
