This morning, elections began to fill the vacant seat for membership in the People's Assembly for the electoral district of Damascus Governorate for Sector (B).
The head of the Judicial Sub-Committee for Elections in Damascus, Judge Maymon Ezz El-Din, confirmed in a statement to SANA that all electoral centers began receiving voters since seven in the morning to choose their representative, as the number of candidates reached 17, indicating that the 80 centers are distributed over the entire area of Damascus.
Judge Ezz El-Din indicated that all necessary measures have been taken for the proper conduct of the electoral process, which will continue until seven in the evening, if there is no extension by the Supreme Judicial Committee.
